Note: the red-tailed hawk flew in circles above us, and screamed, while we were at the Jewelweed patch.

Note: while at the Jewelweed patch, I observed many bumblebees and many hornets visiting the flowers, and noticed that the hornets visited the "wrong" end of the flower; apparently they get at the nectar by chewing through the end of the long spur; this method is "wrong" for the Jewelweed as it cannot effect pollenation. (The black&white hornets were more numerous than the black&yellow.)
