- Doris informs me that Pronghorns are really goats rather than antelopes;
- we saw pronghorn adults many times during this trip, including what looked to be breeding-age females, and wondered why we never saw any young pronghorns; apparently the mother will leave her young in a safe place, for up to several days at a time once they're weaned;
- here is a photo of young pronghorns.
