-- Leo Mol often made multiple copies, sometimes in several sizes, for example his "Tom Lamb" statue can be seen in Richardson Building lobby, The Pas Airport, the Western Aviation Museum, as well as in the Sculpture-garden in Assiniboine Park (see winnipegfreepress.com/historic/32755469.html);

-- Leo Mol's "Grizzly-bear Cubs 1993" looks identical to his "The Bears" that I photographed in Altona on 2009-Oct18 (ereimer.net/20091018/index.htm) although they bear different name-plates;  Morden has a Leo Mol sculpture entitled "White-tailed Doe and Fawn" that looks identical to his "Deer And Fawn" in Assiniboine-Park's Sculpture-garden  (see www.mordenmb.com/residents/sculptures.shtml and www.winnipegreflections.com/leo_Mol.php);  having multiple copies and multiple names must have made his record-keeping difficult;

-- note:  the miniature "Tom Lamb" is not-exactly-to-scale, the propellor is at a bigger angle with-respect-to horizontal, and the parka-hood covers more of the face;  presumably he made a small-scale model (maquette) before doing the full-scale version, and then made some improvements;

-- on the Thorlakson bust my camera's centre-weighted light-meter works just fine;  whereas the miniature Tom Lamb needs an exposure of +2-ev (2 stops brighter) for the subject to be lit appropriately;  Thorlakson at +2-ev is an accident that I decided to keep;  it's more interesting than the usual overexposed shot, and makes me think of the "Meet your Neighbours" project with the white-background requirement;
