Many of those "Cedar Waxwing pair" photos resulted from my attempts to capture a strange ritual the pair was engaged in, involving very rapid beak-to-beak contact. Apparently the ritual is well-known, and they are passing morsels of food back and forth. All my attempts missed the beak to beak contact, but many of the photos do show one or the other with a small morsel in the beak.
