Today was a bad day for my camera's auto-focus; rebooting did not help. This reluctance to focus on the near, seems to be worse when the battery is low; and since it now has this behaviour even when using my better battery fully-charged, perhaps it is time to get a new battery, or two. I have been using the camera for 18 months, taking almost 6,000 photographs, on approximately 120 separate days. Each of my 2 rechargeable batteries has been recharged about 80 times, perhaps as many as 100 times, which is a long way from the 500 recharges which Nikon says the EN-EL1 is good for. (One of my batteries has been behaving like a worn-out one for several months; it could well be the one that I once left in the charger for several days.)
